 Frees, Inc. (of Shreveport, LA) is pleased to announce that it has settled its litigation with Southeast Building Solutions, Inc. (Ventilation Solutions) (of Oak Ridge, TN).

That litigation started several years ago when Frees filed suit to protect it proprietary rights to its Frees Directed Air Flow Systems™ and Dust-Free Systems™, which are ventilation systems developed by Frees to meet the special needs of the fiberglass-reinforced products industry.

Pursuant to the settlement, Southeast has agreed to, purchase a license, pay royalties and other consideration to Frees, Inc for a period of 20 years.

Ronnie Free, President of Frees, stated “We are pleased to have this litigation successfully resolved, and we will endeavor to assist Southeast in continuing to offer the Frees’ technology in accordance with the terms of the license we have granted to Southeast. ” Both Frees and Southeast will continue to offer, in a competitive manner, the Frees Directed Air Flow Systems™ and Dust-Free Systems™.
