Frees Directed Air Flow Systems™
FREES Pioneered the Directed Air Flow System for Fiberglass Ventilation, FRP and Composites industry. Each manufacturing facility faces a number of air quality challenges that are unique to their industry. With OSHA and EPA currently developing new, more stringent regulations on most industrial processes, it is clear that conventional ventilation systems will not stand the test of the air quality requirements that lie ahead.
FREES, with over 60 years experience in providing guaranteed air flow solutions, will work with you to overcome these air quality obstacles. Through precision engineering and innovative application.
FREES has designed, fabricated, and installed highly efficient, cost-effective ventilation systems in manufacturing plants across North America. Our FDAFS™ system uses proprietarily methods to direct air over the breathing zone of the employee insuring OSHA compliance with < 50 ppm / 8 hour TWA - guaranteed.
FREES' turnkey capabilities provide a single source of responsibility, which translates into greater project control and lower project costs than any comparable system.
< 50 ppm 8 hour TWA
Industries producing and using styrene agreed to establish a voluntary program with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The objective of this program is to encourage all facilities to comply with the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) which OSHA proposed for styrene during a 1989 rulemaking. This means that inhalation exposures may not exceed 50 ppm on an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA), and a 100 ppm 15-minute ceiling. Both are supported by health science and feasibility considerations. For more information on 50 ppm click ACMA - 50 ppm Styrene Exposure Agreement
